The name Samurai Roofing wasn’t chosen at random, it carries deep personal and cultural meaning. My family name is Isono, and some of the most well-known samurai in history were Isonos. The samurai lived by a strict code of integrity, honor, loyalty, and service, values that align not only with who I am but with how I run my company.
This legacy runs deep in my blood. My Grandmother came to the U.S. from Japan as a single mom of three girls. She didn’t have much, but she had an unshakable work ethic and values rooted in her culture. She taught herself to speak English better, often walking to work and pushing through obstacles most people wouldn’t even imagine. She eventually became a citizen—and never once compromised her character in the process. That strength, resilience, and quiet dignity live on in me and in this company.
Before I started Samurai Roofing, life looked very different. I was a homeless teenager, staying on friends’ couches just to get through high school. I know firsthand what it means to struggle, to feel forgotten, and to have to fight your way forward when everything feels stacked against you. That experience shaped me—and it also shaped the heart of this company.
I've always been passionate about giving back and helping people in need, because I was that person. When I entered the roofing industry, I quickly realized there was a huge gap—not in materials or technical skill—but in client care. People were being treated like numbers instead of neighbors. There was no accountability, no integrity, and definitely no honor in how many companies operated.
That’s why I created Samurai Roofing Services—to bring back honor to the hustle and to protect homes the way a samurai would protect their village. We don’t cut corners. We show up. We communicate. We do what we say we’ll do. And we genuinely care.
This company isn’t just about roofing—it’s about restoring trust, serving our community, and leading with purpose. Everything we do is grounded in that mission.
